Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya (KMM) was established in 1998 as a self-financed, all-girls institution initially affiliated with Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. The institution launched its academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Programme in 1998, followed by the addition of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme in 2005. In 2008, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) Programmes were also introduced. In 2016, KMM’s affiliation changed from Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad, to Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) University (formerly Allahabad State University), Prayagraj, following a state government decision to redistribute college affiliations for better administrative efficiency. From 2022 onwards, the institution expanded its academic offerings by introducing seven new subjects in B.A. Programme and two in the M.A. Programme, marking significant academic growth.
