About Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya

Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya (KMM), established in 1998, is a renowned, self-financed, women’s higher education institution located in Kunda, Pratapgarh. The college is named in honour of its beloved founder and guiding inspiration Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, a spiritual luminary who holds the title of Jagadguruttam, meaning the supreme spiritual leader of the world. Out of his profound wisdom, compassion, and lifelong mission to uplift humanity, Shri Maharaj established Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education (JKPE), an institution providing 100% free education to women from kindergarten through post-graduation. Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya, the degree college arm of JKPE, is affiliated with Prof. Rajendra Singh (Raju Bhaiya) University, Prayagraj formerly known as Allahabad State University and is recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act.

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj is the fifth original Jagadguru, a title given only to a divine personality who possesses complete theoretical knowledge of all scriptures as well as practical experience of God, and whose teachings bring about a spiritual revolution in the world. In the tradition dating back more than 2500 years, he was honored with the title of Jagadguruttam – “Supreme among all Jagadgurus.” on January 14, 1957 by 'Kashi Vidvat Parishad ' (a council of 500 greatest scholars saints of India). The institution has been shaped by the visionary stewardship of HH Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, whose tenure as President laid a strong foundation of academic discipline and institutional growth. This legacy is being carried forward under the dynamic leadership of HH Sushri Dr. Shyama Tripathi Ji, the current President, who continues to strengthen the college’s commitment to quality education and holistic development of students. Alongside them, the college is inspired and guided by the senior mentorship of our Patron HH Sushri Dr. Krishna Tripathi Ji, whose continued involvement and participation in activities both large and small serve as a constant source of encouragement. Together, the three leaders’ vision, dedication, and hands-on support ensure that the institution remains vibrant, values-driven, and steadfast in its mission to empower women through education.
